Green Power Smoothie


Mornings sometimes are dreadful. The lack of energy makes you feel like crawling back into bed and just sleeping the day away. Well, we all can't do that because of "Things to do, Places to go and People to see", right. So, I would like to share my inexpensive energy drink that keeps me revved practically all day long and hope it would be a delight for you as well.

Things You Will Need:

1- cup spinach
1- cup collards greens
1- cup coconut water
1- cup almond milk or soy milk
1- cup blueberries
1- whole green apple
1/2- lemon
1- cup of distilled water

You can use a blender or juicer

This blend gives you energy, helps with weight loss & detoxifies

Spinach- are important for hair, bones, skin and provide iron, protein, vitamins & minerals

Collard Greens- decreases risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, weight loss, healthy complexion and hair

Almond milk- manage weight, strong bones, healthy heart, low sugar, glowing skin, lactose free, contains fiber for proper digestion

Blueberries- highest antioxidant of all fruits, neutralizes free radicals that can affect aging and disease, helps reduce belly fat, promotes urinary tract health, preserve vision, brain health, dissolve bad cholesterol(Heart disease), inhibit certain types of cancer, helps with constipation & digestion

Green Apple- Antioxidants, reduction of liver and digestive tract issues, lower cholesterol, decreases chances of colon cancer, fiber, energy, appetite control "1 apple a day keeps the doctor away"

lemon- controls high blood pressure, cleanses teeth, provides relief from fever & cold, relieves respiratory & breathing problems, natural antiseptic, help reduce body weight, stops internal bleeding, blood purifier

Dr. Davis's "Carb Smart" Plan that MELTS belly FAT!

With summer just around the corner women and men are looking for a safe and easy way to lose those extra stubborn 10lbs. Well, Dr.Davis "Carb Smart" Plan will help you lose more than a pond a week. Dr. William Davis, M.D., is the bestselling author of the title "Wheat Belly Diet". Dr.Davis's plan includes some delicious smoothies, one smoothie for breakfast and other for lunch, plus a sensible dinner of lean protein and unlimited non starchy vegetables. I have tried this plan and I've lost over twenty pounds in a month. You must have the drive to want it or this plan will not work for you but if you want that summer beach body staying focused is key, right?. Below is the plan that has worked for myself and others.

Dr.Davis's Berry Flaxseed Hunger Blaster:               
1/2 cup berries, such as raspberries and strawberries    
1/2 cup coconut milk                                                        
4 Tbs. whey protein powder                                           
2 tsp. ground flaxseed                                                   
4 ice cubes                                                                     
Whip all ingredients in blender until frothy.                
                                                                                       
Dr.Davis's Chocolate-Almond Power Shake
                                                                               
1/2 cup coconut milk                                                   
2 tsp. almond butter                                                   
2 Tbs.whey protein powder
1Tbs. cocoa powder(unsweetened)                        
4 slices frozen banana, plus ice cubes to taste                              
2 tsp. Truvia (or other sweetener, to taste)
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Whip all ingredients in blender until frothy.

Dinner:

Unlimited grilled or broiled chicken breast, lean beef or fish prepared with
lemon juice, herbs and spices to taste. At least 2 cups non-starchy vegetables with 1 tsp. olive oil
1 small sweet potato or 1/2 cup brown rice, quinoa or beans.
 **Cutting wheat has the biggest impact, limiting even wheat free-carbs will lead to fastest weight loss.

Snacks: unlimited veggies and "good" fats (nuts, nut butter, guacamole, hummus, etc.)
**Of course, when trying to burn "FAT" or "LOSE WEIGHT" you'll receive maximum benefits when you include a moderate exercise plan. I've included a list of workout sites below that will help you achieve your goal while on Dr.Davis's plan.

Power Smoothie-Energy

Mornings for some are "dreadful". The lack of energy makes you feel like crawling back into bed and sleeping the day away. Well, we all can't do that because of this thing we call "LIFE". In which, keeps us busy with "Things to do, Places to go and People to see" right. So, I decided to do my good deed for today and share my natural energy boosting secret~shhhhhhhhhhhhh. This smoothie keeps me pumped up practically all day long. I hope this will be a delight for you as well. Drink up.

POWER SMOOTHIE:
2- cups of fresh orange juice
1- cup blueberries
1- whole green apple
1-banana
1- cup frozen strawberries
Tsp. of honey (optional)
B-12 ~1000mcg or 1mg (optional)
